PlayNxt Privacy Policy

Watchlight Interactive ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our PlayNxt mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you choose to sign in (optional), we collect:

• Account Information: Email address and display name from your Google or Apple account
• Profile Photo: If provided by your sign-in provider

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the app, we automatically collect:

• Anonymous User ID: If you don't sign in, we create an anonymous identifier to provide core functionality. This ID is not linked to any personal information.
• Session Preferences: Your selected time availability, mood, platform preferences, and play style for each recommendation session
• Game Interactions: Which games you like, dislike, save to your library, or skip
• Recommendation Signals: Your feedback on recommendations to improve future suggestions
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for authentication

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Photos or media files
• Microphone or camera data
• Browsing history outside the app

1.4 Advertising Data

We display non-personalized advertisements through Google AdMob. We do NOT use personalized advertising or behavioral tracking. AdMob may collect general device information for ad serving, ad interaction data (impressions, clicks), and IP address (for fraud prevention and regional ad delivery).

Note: We explicitly disable personalized ads to protect your privacy.

1.5 Subscription Information

If you purchase PlayNxt Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and RevenueCat (subscription management). We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do NOT have access to your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Session preferences: To provide personalized game recommendations
• Game interactions: To improve recommendations and avoid suggesting games you've already played or skipped
• Account info: To sync your preferences and library across devices (only if signed in)
• Device identifier: To authenticate API requests and prevent abuse
• Advertising: To display relevant, non-personalized ads that support the free version of the app

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Authentication, Google Cloud Firestore, and encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time through the app settings.

If you use the app without signing in, your preferences and saved games are stored locally on your device and never leave your device unless you sign in.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with service providers (Firebase/Google Cloud, AdMob, RevenueCat) and when required by law.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can view your saved games and recommendation history in the app's Library tab. You can delete your data at any time via Settings > Privacy & Data. You can use the app without signing in. You can remove all advertisements by subscribing to PlayNxt Premium.

6. Children's Privacy

PlayNxt is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. International Users

EU/EEA Users (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing the service) and consent (for optional sign-in).

California Users (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, delete your personal information, opt-out of sale of personal information (we don't sell data), and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
